Optometry and Laser Vision Correction San Diego

Dr. Gordon Wong, Dr. Wildon Wong, and our staff look forward to meeting your eye care needs at our optometry and laser vision correction practice in La Jolla, serving all of San Diego.
We accept most insurance plans, including Vision Service Plan (VSP), EyeMed, Avesis, Davis Vision, Safeguard, Medical Eye Services, Blue Shield PPO, Blue Cross PPO, and Medicare. Although many people do not have vision coverage per se, their medical insurance can often be billed for the visit if a medical condition exists and is diagnosed during the eye exam. At our optometry and ophthalmology practice, we can help in such matters.

Our Staff
In addition to Dr. Gordon Wong and Dr. Wildon Wong, our friendly staff is made up of several individuals who are dedicated to meeting your needs. Whether you are visiting us for a routine optometry exam or laser vision correction, we will ensure that you receive the best possible care.
Tammy
Tammy is the head of our optical department. She is very knowledgeable about the types of frames we carry and how to customize your lenses to fit your lifestyle. Tammy's friendly and courteous manner will help you find the perfect frame to complement your style, your face shape, and your skin tone.
Melissa
Melissa is our patient coordinator and the pleasant voice on the phone when you call. Not only will she assist you in finding an appointment time that is convenient for your schedule, she will also help in utilizing any possible vision benefits that you may have.
Torrea
Torrea has been with GW Eye Associates since 2003. She is very knowledgeable in all areas of the office and is here to serve your needs. Torrea also coordinates the schedule for laser vision correction and cataract surgeries with the surgeons that Dr. Gordon Wong and Dr. Wildon Wong have hand picked to care for their patients. She will take care of all the details to ensure that your surgery goes as smoothly as possible. Safety and patient satisfaction are the number one priority here at GW Eye Associates.
Mike
Mike is our optometric technician. His role is to assist Drs. Gordon and Wildon Wong during the office visit. He also works with Dr. Wildon Wong managing the contact lens department.
Quality assurance is of the utmost importance to us. That is why virtually all eyeglasses are assembled and edged, or cut to fit your frames, in office by either Dr. Gordon or Wildon Wong. Once the finished product is ready for dispensing, Anthony will make certain that the eyeglasses are comfortable and fit properly.
Phil
Phil is our patient coordinator and insurance expert. He has been with us since 2009. He can assist you with coordinating your visit to our office and maximizing your insurance benefits.
