To Our Valued Customers,

As the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic begins to have an increased impact on our lives and communities, we feel compelled to communicate directly with you to share what steps we are taking at both the La Jolla and Del Mar offices to keep you, our staff, and the community safe and healthy.

Our deepest sympathies go out to those that have been affected by COVID-19. Because we place high value on the health and safety of our patients, we will continue to monitor the situation by talking with local health care leaders as well as listening to the CDC and the World Health Organization (WHO).

Our offices are cleaned and sanitized on a regular basis. We have hand sanitizers placed in every room for both patients and staff to use. Prior to each examination, the equipment is thoroughly sanitized with alcohol. Diagnostic contact lenses are disposed of after each use. Glasses and sunglasses on display are cleaned regularly and after each one has been tried on.

You can help to decrease the spread of COVID-19 by practicing good hygiene to protect yourself against infection - wash your hands frequently with soap and water for more than 20 seconds, and use alcohol-based sanitizers. Avoid touching your face...especially your eyes, nose, and mouth. If you become sick, please seek medical attention.
